Precious vineyards heritage
    

Arriving at the Pieve Estate and looking at the property you immediately realize that you are on a privileged territory: the thick vineyards, according to the best international methods of high density,   extremely  well taken care of, with its beautiful roses that adorn and watch over them, immediately indicates  an  important diversity.

The vineyards are part of an improvement project started in 1988 to guarantee the achievement of every vintage, of excellent qualitative results which produce high quality wines, personality and of a unique character.

The vineyard surface belonging to the family, beside to the local varietals Garganega, Corvina and Rondinella, is also dedicated international ones: Merlot and Chardonnay. However, some small surfaces are dedicated to experimentation of other types of grapes such as Cabernet Franc,  Shiraz and Sauvignon.

The training system is a rammed cord of 9500 per hectare with a maximum height of vegetation of 125cm from the ground, a distance between each row of 110cm. and from vineyard to vineyard 1 metre.

Great wines are born in the vineyards. In fact, the Pieve Estate uses the newest methods for cultivation

Due to the density of the training system, more than 70% of the processing is mechanically done.  The winter pruning , the selection of the spring buds, the thinning of  the bunches of grapes and the harvesting is done by hand.
